AJ Fernandez New World
90% of what I smoke are Cuban. But the these New Worlds are really great. Made in Esteli, Nicaragua I highly recommend them. I light up 3-4 a week. Great with beer or wine. A bit mild for a hard liquor drink, but that's just my opinion.

Yes, these are very good. Almost anything AJF has his hand in creating is good!

Smoked one of those several weeks ago. It was very good.
Agree with Conrad regarding AJ Fernandez.

Andy, A.J. Fernandez is one of the brightest "new" stars in the cigar world, right now, and the consensus is that he makes fantastic cigars. I've had a couple (I think, I don't keep a journal) and I like them, too.
Our Spiridon is the guy, really in the know, about A.J. Fernandez, I hope he'll chime in.

The AJF new world is a great cigar for the $
On the strong end for my taste, but the flavor profile is phenominal. Even at 54, with the box press, it does not seem so big. At StogieFest the folks from Sindicato handed out this 6x60 and I thought she was kidding. As big as the jaw breakers we used to try to consume as a kid.

These are definitely one of my newest favorites. AJ has blended some outstanding cigars and is definitely carving him a secure seat in the cigar world!

its a good blend, and agree it doesn't seem as big as other large RG cigars

I am a BIG fan of AJF blends! The New World remains on my list of "go to" cigars. One thing I do miss though is the "Oval Connecticut".....I don't know WHY they stopped producing that one!
