I'm watching a PBS Austin City Limits special right now. SRV was one of the best.

I saw him live the night before he died. Best concert I've ever been to.

My all time favorite artist. I only go to see him once but, like you Joe, it was the best concert I've ever seen. RIP Stevie.

I would give anything to have seen him live. I discovered him a few years ago and he has been my all-time favorite musician ever since. His music is just on a whole other level...

I've been a fan of Texas-style electric blues for a long time, and agree he was one of the great ones. Made it seem effortless. He is missed.

The ironic part is that he fought his way off of a pharmacy of drugs so that he could die in a helicopter crash.

How true, Jeff. He had cleaned his "act" up and was just hitting his stride when he was taken from us. As they say, there's got to be one heck of a jam session going on up there right now!
