They are modular. they'll be assembled when they are delivered, just like a pool table. 12 grand to buy? they'll cost about two grand to deliver and set up, maybe. maybe they'll just hire local cabinet makers to put them together. in any case, it's going to be bolted together, very sturdily done, but easily broken down and transported by someone with a moderate to large degree of mechanical or furniture experience.

I was at an antique store once, and was absolutely astounded to find what appeared to be bar/saloon islands that were rescued from some place. The things were beautiful. They were solid oak construction, and about ten by ten, with a big mirrored back. all three sides were bar tops.
I have no idea how they got them, where they came from, but they were vintage, and genuine. about 8 feet tall. If someone had a huge man cave, that would have been magnificent. Add in a walk in like one of these, and hell, you have the beginnings of an actual cigar club. You could have served a party of 50 people with two people tending bar behind that thing. |
