If I can brave the 15 degree weather tomorrow, maybe I'll venture out at lunch and take a walk.... I'll report back. Hope I don't forget, maybe you can bring this to the top tomorrow before lunch to remind me. (I am over 40.....)

Definitely dig HH. Saw him last year on the Future2Future tour. Not my favorite HH stuff. If I want techno/ambient/electronica, there are better choices. He'll be touring in California in March/April. He also recently released a 4CD retrospective collection which is great.

He's been stereotyped as an electronic musician, but he also plays an incredible standard jazz piano. Remarkably versatile.
Funny comment. At work the other day, a co-worker stopped by my cube. I had a fusion compilation in the computer, and the tune Chameleon from Headhunters was playing. He nudged me and asked how I got away with watching porn at work. I asked what he was talking about, he said that music could only come from a porn movie. After setting him straight, I had to chuckle. He was right, that tune could be the background for any porn movie. |

I liked a lot of his music from the 70s, and some of his earlier stuff - Watermelon Man is a classic.
