Robert Plant tears up $800 million contract
It was an offer for Led Zeppelin to tour again, including Page and Jones.
"The 66-year-old singer walked away from a 35-date tour that would have paid the rock group nearly $800 million — ripping up the contract in front of stunned promoters, the Mirror newspaper reported Sunday." When you can turn down that kind of money, then things must be pretty good, at least financially. No reason for the refusal has been given. We can only speculate.
