"Big George" is losing his touch......
George Stienbrenner looks like he can't let go players anymore... the want to LEAVE or NOT SIGN!!!
 Petite is about to leave and go home to Texas and play with the Astrosbecause of George Steinbrenner's negotiating tactics and how the Boss ignored Pettitte after the World Series. Plus, Sheffield isn't gung ho on signing with the Yanks! Talks between Gary Sheffield and the New York Yankees have significantly stalled because Sheffield increased his salary demands, angering The Boss. Yankees could focus their attention on Montreal Expos free agent Vladimir Guerrero, although they had indicated earlier that they thought his asking price would be too high. I believe the Yanks need to take care of business "in house" before going out searching. What do you think?
