Gorgeous Aristocrat Plus THC has arrived!

After a seemingly neverending wait, my new humidor is set up, seasoned, and filled with cigars

I purchased the climate controlled THC Plus from Bob Staebell. My build process was held up as I pestered Bob for high resolution photos of his figured woods, searching for the perfect door inlay to match my natural mahogany cabinet. After a week or two of staring at pictures in my email inbox, I decided on quilted maple.

The humidor is heavy, well built, and beautifully finished. This is my second Aristocrat, my first being a Mini that has served me well but I outgrew it long ago and turned to coolerdors for overflow. I needed a serious cabinet, and wanted the peace of mind that comes with climate control.

I just put my boxes in the humidor, and organized it. Here's a breakdown of what's in there, just so you have an idea of its real-world capacity.

That's 35 full boxes of various sizes, no DC's however. They are perfectly organized with plenty of room for air to circulated, not packed in at all. I estimate that I have room for another 5 boxes or so, which makes around 40 boxes in the real world. This is not counting the 300-400 cigars that will fit in the drawer. I have another 200-300 or so loose cigars in a coolerdor still, but I don't wanna toss a hodgepodge of sticks in the drawer. Include the drawer, and you comfortably have 45 boxes of cigars sitting at 65% and 67 degrees, all year round.
