Aladino Cameroon

Aladino Cameroon from Julio R. Eiroa. These first hit the shelves in the middle of May, according to their FB page. Corona Cigars just got their allotment, it appears as I am seeing this for the first time in an e-mail from last night.

Quote:

The Aladino Cameroon features a Honduran (Corojo) binder/filler encased in a Cameroon wrapper grown in the Jamastran Valley by the Eiroa family. Once you light one up, you’ll soon realize why the Aladino Cameroon is such a sought-after cigar. You will experience a razor-sharp burn with a soft grey ash, all while producing beautiful notes of red apple sweetness, earthy pepper, red chili pepper spice, and a creamy finish.

Strength: Medium
Binder: Honduran (Corojo)
Filler: Honduran (Corojo)
Wrapper: Honduran (Cameroon)
Origin: Honduras
Corona Cigar is selling them in the robusto and the super toro sizes. I believe there is a Lonsdale made, as well, but Corona must not carry it.

Box of 24 5" x 50

Box of 24, 6" x 50

Giving them multiple clicks can only help us.

The Yagua are now available for purchase at Cigar King. It's in the Daily Deals thread and they are the first to advertise these for sale, that I know of anyway.

Diesel Presents Estelí Puro Line

Jason is reporting in CW News, the introduction of what sounds to be a great new line for Diesel.

Quote:
The collection harnesses the strength and complexity of Estelí’s renowned tobacco which comes from the darkest and most dense of Nicaraguan soils. Each of the tobaccos that comprise Diesel Estelí Puro were hand-selected from AJ’s farms to meet specific requirements set forth by the Diesel team. The wrapper was harvested from La Lilia, the binder from San José and the fillers from several plots including AJ’s celebrated San Lotano farm.

Blended by AJ Fernandez, handcrafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua and developed by General Cigar’s Justin Andrews, Diesel Estelí Puro is made with hand-selected leaves that are cultivated, processed and aged by AJ’s team. Heady aroma and spice dominate, lending body and dimension to the cigar, and delivering a smoke for experienced palates.

Diesel Estelí Puro will be available in three sizes, sold in 20-count boxes and will begin shipping to retailers on September 1.
Sizes and pricing can be found in the article.

Cigar King is now taking orders with some freebies thrown in for the new blend of Fonseca from the My Father Factory.

Quote:
THIS IS HUGE: Fonseca by My Father Cigars may just be, dare I say, the most exciting cigar release of 2020- and we just got word that everything is on the way to us. Each box gets a healthy discount off retail pricing, a free 3-Pack box of My Father Flor De Las Antillas Tubos ($25 Value!), PLUS Free Shipping On Your Entire Order! We don't expect this to last - don't get locked out of buying the most exciting release of the year!

Pepin Garcia, owner of My Father Cigars is now known as being one of the most popular and respected blenders in the cigar industry. Recipient of two #1 Cigar of the Year awards by Cigar Aficionado, Garcia has shown and proven his legendary blending skills in spades- so when we heard that My Father had acquired the legendary Cuban heavyweight brand known as Fonseca, we nearly fell out of our chairs. Here’s a little backstory on the brand:

Over one hundred years ago, Don Fransisco Fonseca set up his factory in Havana Cuba and began crafting cigars with his name. Although these cigars are still produced today, the brand as a whole is no longer privately-owned; it’s part of the Cubatabaco and Habanos family. After Cuban Fonseca’s were nationalized by Fidel Castro, a new Fonseca emerged, and the brand began production not only in Cuba, but also in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua headed by the Quesada family. In December, My Father Cigars rocked the industry and acquired the brand. A cool piece of the history puzzle is that Pepin Garcia himself at one time worked for the Fonseca brand in Cuba!

The blend itself is groundbreaking for My Father Cigars, because they have created a brand new wrapper specifically for this brand- a shade-grown Corojo 99 Rosado. We at Cigar King have personally smoked the cigar and can tell you this: It isn’t anything like the quintessential my father “pepper bomb” cigar- it’s much milder! With that being said, it’s still a solid medium-strength smoke, but with a tamed and relaxed spice that will thrill. The profile is light and pleasant, while still offering a fantastic richness and subtle earthiness. Place your pre-order now before anyone else, or better yet: Call our experts at Cigar King and they'll give you all the juicy details- 1-800-669-7167.

Viaje Private Keep Chartreuse Cigars by Andre Farkas

Viaje is known for making outstanding rich full-bodied micro-batch cigars, all in extremely limited releases creating a buzz like no other brand in the industry. In an effort to bring really amazing blends to market, Viaje is releasing them under the Private Keep line. According to Viaje owner and President Andre Farkas regarding the Viaje Private Keep: "We are taking our most prized blends which haven't yet found a home over to Private Keep for release. Arriving un-banded, how can you tell one version from the next? Each release will come wrapped in a different colored ribbon. The first up was the Private Keep aqua, followed by the Tangerine (6x52) and for 2020 the Chartreuse.

The Viaje Private Keep Chartreuse is a Nicaraguan puro made up of all Aganorsa farmed tobaccos. The cigar features a spicy Nicaraguan Corojo 99' wrapper, with a blend of aged Nicaraguan fillers from the very best growing regions of Nicaragua. The cigars are produced at the famed TABSA Factory, home to such brands as Illusione & Warped to name just a few. The result is a rich, spicy Medium to full bodied smoke with complex flavors, this is what Viaje does best and the Viaje Private Keep line showcases the outstanding blending style of Andre Farkas & Viaje Cigars.
