Laguiole Cigar Cutters

They are so beautiful. There was an ad in this month's Cigar Aficionado and I just can't get over them. Not cheap, but the style is so similar to my beloved Case pocket knives. Anyone ever use one?

Beautiful, yes, but too rich for my blood. My cutter progression has gone something like this:

1. Cheap gimmie guillotine cutter

2. Xicar Xi II (original Solingen steel blades)

3. Swiss Army Knife

4. Palio

5. Quit looking

Nothing on that list cost me more than $40 or so, and 2-4 all do an excellent job.

XIcar... they'll replace them for life. That's saying something. My son PHYICALLY broke one (!!) and they replaced it.

I have 3 cheap guillotines, and a cheap punch on my key chain. That's how I roll when I travel.

BUT to the point of the thread - Damn those are beautiful!

Their pocket knives are elegant. I treated myself, spent the $$ and never regretted it.

I have been using Xikar for two years now. Big believer in them, I just fell in love with these. I can't afford this now, but hopefully one day not too far away that might change.

I also have a Palio that I use regularly around home.
