Take the tiny screw out of the bottom and pull the insert out from the body. then remove the o-ring(careful not to lose it) from the adjustment screw and pull off the limiter. Adjust to where it lights and is consistent, then reverse the process. Now you have a nice lighter for 3 bucks.
