He's on vaca in NM where there isn't a lot of cell coverage. Don't think it is an insult.

Jesu, if there's one place that I have been on Earth where I could believe God took off his shoes and walked away, it was New Mexico. Ugliest place I have ever been.

The taos hum has an easy explanation, or at least a few great possibilities.

The ancient ones who created the earth have plugged their ears and are humming loudly to avoid having to hear all the new agers, old farts, and hippies that have bought it out and turned it into weirdo mecca.

The other possibility is that the ancient gods realized that making it the most godforsaken hell hole on the planet and they amped up the pressure.

Very true Tommy. I was kind of rushed last night when I posted that and the deals thread was the first thing that popped in my head I guess. You are correct though, I probably should have just started a new thread on this one!
