the new JR deals are up
They include a CAO Brazilia humidor deal stocked with "Lambadas," - toro sized brazilias. A new size for the line?

It is funny how all the "NEW" items that are so blatantly advertised are 'Not In Stock', and the sale just started. Talk about B.S.

Several of the new specials are out of stock, one being the ERDM sampler on sale for $49.95 (although it's still listed as $59.95 ). I am a bit bummed, I was getting ready to order some of the Maria Mancinis that were on sale, guess I wont be doing that now. None of the new specials even interest me what about you all?

I notice they now have tins of several Altadis cigars, including the tTt Trinidad coronas. I'll probably pick up a tin or two since there's no way I can afford a box right now. They are tasty though.

I like the new deals. I smoked a Belinda Black today that I received from SSaka at the NE Herf. Delicious....
Next up, the pre-release La Escepcion IV. co-hiba

I didn't look at the website.
I don't get the catalog. But catalogs are written months in advance (you'd be surprised how much lead time is needed). And you write catalogs assuming containers will clear customs in time to be available. And that doesn't always happen - those humidors come from China so there could even be delays at sea. I'm not a JR loyalist, but I'd say they are good at making good on the catalog - face it they don't make money on stuff they can't sell. The catalogs often make mention of this when you read them over a period of time. Usually you can call and place the item on backorder. my 2 cents. believe what you want.

Dittos to what grtrx said. I like the 5-pack sampler specials, which seems to be a marketing idea that's growing; I notice several other dealers offering some really good sampler specials - most noticeably Famous Smoke Shop.
Does anyone know how JR will handle shipping charges on the samplers? |

I'm fairly certain any item (no matter what cost) up to five will be charged $2.00/per. So your sampler will incur a $2.00 in addition to anything else you order. Still not bad if ordering 3 or less items.
