Crunch

Smoking a 7/20 Bolivar PC and the crunch of plume is very crunchy at the tip.

I've never had a crunchy cigar before. But I am sure it is tasty.

Real plume is crystals and is indeed crunchy. Rare commodity.

Plume is like UFOs. Rarely seen and still debated if it actually exists, lol

Reminds me of a CC purchase about 20 years ago. Cigars arrive with mold. It was white and fuzzy, and sporadically distributed. I sent pictures to the vendor, They said it was Plume. I had to fight with them for a refund. I have never actually seen Plume in person, and I have stored some cigars for over 20 years.

I've heard many stories of vendors doing this with moldy cigars, for a long time. Seems to be common practice with many vendors.

Personally, if i got that response it would be the last time i ever used that vendor. Very poor customer service.

But irrelevant for me as i just wipe off the mold and smoke away (unless its in the foot, but I've never had that happen )

i friggin love cigars

It was the last time I purchased from them, lol.
I have also wiped away a little white mold.
Not the blue/green type though, although another thing I have never seen TG.

I had a friend with a similar experience with a vendor many years ago... they were crossed off our list as well.

Mold isn't crunchy. The crystals of plume are. I know the difference and crystals in a 3 years of aging are almost unheard of. It was an unexpected treat. Smoked both a Bolivar and Partagas PC in the day. First double the herfing since the last Gulf Coast herf a year ago (personable best of 6 cigars in one afternoon).
