I live in Austin and graduated from UT, class of '98. With that aside, I've never had the honor of meeting Mack Brown. Everything I've ever heard about him is positive. He is one hell of a MAN from what I've heard from people that have met him and interacted with him. He is a genuine person, which is probably why he is one hell of a recruiter. I agree that it wasn't the best way for him to go out, but I do feel it was time for a change. Mack's teams have always been soft. We need someone who will bring some grit to the program. My fellow Longhorns suffer from entitlement syndrome. We need someone who will nip that crap.
