Booker's - Unfiltered Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon
6-8 Years Old, 123 Proof

Wow! At barel strength, the bottle I sampled was at 123 Proof! This Bourbon has a wonderful, deep smokey amber color.

My first snifter was neat, and the fire and heat this bourbon generated threatened to ignite from the spark of my lighter. However, beneath the heat there's the taste of cinnamon, leather, and tobacco, with an oak and vanilla aroma.

My second snifter was cut with ice, and flavors of dried fruit, tannin, and tobacco prevailed. The finish was very clean, very long and still very intense.

I guess I somewhat of a wuss, but I'd recommend having this Bourbon with shaved ice, or on the rocks. The high proof is kinda hard to take, and the flavors are more pronounced when cut a bit.
