Will be enjoying some Wernesgruner beer. It's a pilsener beer Aldi imports from Germany. It's brewed in one of the oldest breweries in the world, founded in 1436.

A little Redemption Rye after dinner. Tempted to start now. Taking down decorations, helping out with the laundry and scalpel edge sharpening the knives. I could now shave with any knife in the blocks. Assembling the wok rig partially. Sweet and sour pork for dinner.
Kinda feel like I earned it today.

Clan Denny Single Grain 9-Year Old 2005 Strathclyde drawn from a single Sherry butt with a dash of still water. Caramel/toffee overtones with some baking spices emerging at mid-palate. Very nice for such a young Scotch whisky.

With our brief relative warm spell over and winter back with a vengeance, tonight feels like a brandy manhattan or two.

More of the same last night. It pairs wonderfully with caramel and sea salt dark chocolate!
