Please help the lesser intelligent (again) Math and cigar o

Ok, in my never ending attempt to control temperature and humidity I ended up with a cigar oasis and wine cooler that measure 13x15x24 inches in the storage area.

To the best of my math deficient mind that is 4680 CUBIC INCHES right? The Cigar Oasis says it's good for up to 4 cubic feet, so now we have to convert those cubic inches to cubic feet, right?

This would be 2.71 cubic feet well within the range if my math is right.

Now I just put this thing in the box and it is set for 69.5 humidity and the reading keeps jumping sll over the place, is it just broke?

It will jump to 87.5 and two seconds later go to 60.3 and start running, then stop running and read 84.4, jump to another reading of 63.1 and start running. It's been doing this for 15 minutes all the while the reading gets closer and closer on each side to 69.5, is it just adjusting or broke?

My digital hygrometer hasn't moved off 69% since I started it, but I did take out the other humidification devices, HELP.
