I am expecting my first humidor (el rey) to be at my door this afternoon. Anyway i realize there will probably be some info included. I was reading somewhere on the internet, that you should let it sit for a few days after dampening with water or 50/50 solution. Otherwise it will remove the moisture from the cigars. So does the wood have to first absorb moisture, and will it be bad for the cigars. What is the consensus?
