The guy in the video cautions about smoking straight Virginia in a small pipe like the Curvy. He claims smoking straight Virginia's can lead to tongue bite with small pipes.
My opinion is if you draw hard with any pipe, smoking straight Virginia, will likely lead to tongue bite. I have smoke many straight Virginia tobaccos using small pipes 4 inch to 4.5 inches, easy drawing the tobacco, and I did not get tongue bite. Maybe it is just my luck.
