Green beans with almonds
Curried cauliflower
Sprouts with bacon and parmesan

All of these dishes contain ingredients that can be obtained at the average grocery store.

Any of those sound good?

carrots steamed and sauced with dill and butter

or

roasted belgian endive (the rather nutty and slightly bittersweet notes should play nicely with a delicate fish like perch)

or

braised escarole

for starch you could go simple - rice or a little more complex - potatoes bravas

recipes for all the above should be easy enough via google or your favorite browser

for wine, crisp white like albarino (which pairs well with a lot of seafood) or something like a pinot blanc (think Alsace) or a dry riesling (think Australia)
