I jammed with some new folks on Saturday night, somewhere along the line we broke into 'Play That Funky Music' the bass player sang it well played the shit out of it. Very cool, you could smell the funk. We talked about it later and he said revisit KC and The SB for some funk. I downloaded some to remind me and gee whiz they were bubblegumpop back then and now since I am vintage they are a funky good band.
