I am of the 'don't worry, smoke cigars, be happy' mind set but I do beleive air flow plays at least one role and that is reducing chance of mold/mildew. 70% humidity is not ultra wet but...

tahts said I just stack cigars in boxes and boxes on boxes in my coolers. and I once had like 40 of them going...

I am sort with you in the don't worry crowd.... I only have 3 boxes at this point , so I probably cant my self into too much trouble yet

I didn't go get a bigger cooler yet , I need to do that ASAP as these boxes wont fit in the cooler I am using , at least not sitting flat...

I am using an old small cooler I used at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course to carry beer etc... it is more optimized size wise for that use , not boxes...

the cigars are happy no matter which way the boxes sit. Trust me I've asked plenty of cigars over the years 'what could I have done to make your visit in my cooler a better humidor experience'? and they all were mute.

when they do asnwer you obviously have another problem.
