Interesting idea, but at CAD $162, too rich for my blood...

The heating element somewhat reminds me of the lighters that used to come in vehicles.

My current car has one. I drive a 2008 Dodge Avenger.

Drawbacks?

5 lights in between "fueling."
Huge.
Can't purge, bad for relighting.
took over half a minute with him puffing madly to get it going.
Between size, number of lights, and the probable lack of USB ports in a lot of places, (unless you carry a charger) travel is just out, so it's not the answer for air travel.
Price.

Obvious benefits.

Coolest gizmo in years.
airline safe.
wind proof.
as long as you have a laptop/computer/charge block and cord you will never be without a charger, and never stuck with an empty can of butane.
It looks like it did a pretty decent job of lighting, but that's not certain.

I'm undecided. those drawbacks are all deal killers to me. I can't think of anywhere I'd use it, except sitting at my desk. Otherwise, maybe a good idea for other people.

So basically its the perfect lighter for when they allow smoking on commercial airlines again. Yeah, that might happen.
