I'm mildly disappointed that they haven't made an 11th hour switch to Saprissa instead of the brand-spanking new national stadium.

I have beIn on my AT&T. I got to watch the match.
DMB missed that ball on the post, pure and simple.

U.S. had the run of play from about minute 30 until the Ticos beat the back four on that late goal. The U.S. nutted up after going down 2-0, and held the ball and slowly applied pressure in the first half resulting in Dempsey's penalty which he almost fucked up.

Came out second half and continued to keep pressure. There are some positives in the way they played, but the result is the only thing that really counts. I'm worried about a cornered Mexico on Tuesday night, this could be really bad. BUT, we'll have some guys who might not have played for Yanks getting opportunities to play with all the suspensions. Perhaps someone will step up and surprise us.

Ref. was actually pretty decent for a Mexican in a Central American capital, calling a United States.
