This toro size cigar has a slightly rustic dark brown wrapper. Aromas from the foot include toasty tobacco and leather. The cold draw is perfect. Today’s beverage is a cold Topo Chico.



The initial flavors are tobacco and leather. The smoke has a smooth medium body. The retohale is light with leather notes. The ash is light grey and the burn is even.



In the first third the flavor profile picks up a bit of sweetness. There are also light vegetable notes. The retohale now has some black pepper to it. The ash is staying solid, but drops off in a solid piece after reaching about one inch. The burn remains steady.



During the second third the smoke remains medium bodied and very flavorful. The profile is steady. The ash is developing the occasional crack, and I am tapping it to avoid ashing my lap. The burn has gone a bit diagonal, but not enough to touch up.



Approaching the final inch the retohale has become more medium bodied while remaining smooth with the black pepper notes remaining steady. The ash still looks solid but will crack at intervals which is when I tap it. Overall the construction is very good but not perfect.

This is a very enjoyable cigar with a good complexity of flavors. 9.2/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
