Hi folks,

I have a very cheap torch lighter I bought on Canal St here that works pretty well. I need to refuel it for the first time. I bought a can of Xtend Butane. I push the end of the can into the hold on the bottom of the ligher, invert the "docked" ligher-can (lighter on bottom), and fire.

The result - butane all over my hand and the outside of the lighter, but none inside the lighter.

Any ideas? Is the Xtend fluid only for Xtend lighters? Do cheap lighers clog on the refill nozzle? Any other ideas??

I pissed $7 on this butane and would rather not have to toss it.
