Humidification Help
I have been reading previous posts from the past year trying to get a handle on my situation and I would really like some input from you.
Here goes. I currently have 4 storage devices. Following is the list with the current humidification device, number of cigars in it along with the RH%: 300ct Humidor - Cigar Oasis - 160 - 66% 50ct Humidor - Sponge - 48 - 60% 25ct Cigar Jar - Sponge - 0 - 80% 70qt Cooler - None - 0 - NA I am extremely happy with the 300ct humidor and its setting with the Cigar Oasis. I use this as my current "storage" box. The 50ct will not get above the 60% even after adding 2 humidisks. This is my "usage" box that I rotate cigars into and is opened almost on a daily basis. The cigar jar was purchased to house "special" cigars but with a reading of 77-80%, that won't happen until I can get the RH down and steady. The 70qt cooler is in line to be the storage device for "boxed cigars". Please, some input. Other than the 300ct humidor, which form of humidification device would you use for each application. I had made up my mind on using Climmax beads in each device until I read some posts in regards to their high maintenance. Looking forward to your expertise, BA |
