Took me 25 years
Before I finally broke the grinder attachment to my KitchenAid mixer. It started cracking the mixer end of it about 5 years ago. Grinding up a brisket yesterday, the housing cracked to the point of being unsanitary for further use.
For a $40 attachment, 25 years is pretty good durability. Worth every penny.
