How the hell did they get that passed in NOLA. That place has drive-Thru booze huts!!!

It's especially ironic as NOLA and Tampa were epicenters of the cigar industry in this country in the 19th Century. No fewer than three mansions on St. Charles were constructed by Simon Herscheim, an emperor of the cigar industry at the time.
One of them remains and has been converted to The Columns Hotel, which has been featured in the movies Pretty Baby and Tightrope. I've stayed there and highly recommend it. You may have to share a bathroom, but it is a fantastic Victorian mansion with a stained glass window at the top of the staircase that you cannot believe. The bar is pretty impressive too, and they make a fantsastic Brandy Alexander.

I don't know how to respond to this as it is so infuriating, especially a place like Nawlins. I guess we'll see how it effects those around the event or it'll be there again.
