Favorite Blues cd of 2003?

Mine is "No escape from the blues" by James Blood Ulmer. Its a gritty, real blues cd. it gets better after repeated spins.

I don't buy many CDs of newer artists they seldom bring anything new . I have heard great things about the new Al Green.

I'm not sure if it was released in 03 but Solomon Burke "Don't give up on me" is a great CD. The new Kim Wilson "Lookin' for Trouble" is also great!

The latest release from a friend's band here in the Atlanta area, The Breeze Kings.

I like it mostly because I am thanked for amplifier work in the credits on the sleeve!

Plus they let me sit in a lot!

So far I say Sonny Landreth The Road We're On but like I said I seldom buy new relases. I have heard only GREAT things about the S Burke recording but haven't really hear it.
