Used to be a "front-guy" with the Dikhedz, and stood in with the Hickoids, Killbilly and Loco Gringos. I try to behave myself these days...

I'm not a musician, but sang backup with "Rollo and the Rats" back in my college days! Also played the drums. Took 2 years of trombone lessons and 5 years of piano, but it didn't get me anywhere!

I've been playing guitar (both electric and acoustic) since about age 14 and I also played trombone all throughout junior high and high school.

I played trumpet from 5th grade through 11th, then took up the baritone for a year because trumpet players were a dime a dozen. I played in various school concert and marching bands. Stopped playing altogether when I went to college (25 years ago ), but recently bought a decent piano so the kids could learn music. I can pick out a tune very slowly, and intend to take a few beginner/intermediate lessons.

I'd most like to play blues, these days.

Guitar, though I'm out of practice at the moment. Have evry little time to play .

Style-wise, I tend to lean towards big dumb fun rock.

Guitar... Bluegrass...

I'm in an band called "Crossroads" and they're talking about letting me start singing a song or two.
There are a couple of sample tunes near the bottom of the page at http://home.gate.net/~markk/ (the files are about 3 meg each).

Double bass/electric bass. I play all types of music, but classical music is my main type.

electric bass. just "graduated" to the curbow 6 string. (cort).

without a band since 1982. (all original music(-rock&roll-)...but we could never find a singer that didn't want to take total control of the band).

mainly LISTEN to classical music...but i am currently obsessed with "never mind the bollocks!" ... so simple ... but powerful bass.

...have played piano, clarinet, double bass, alto sax, bass drum (in marching band!), and timpani...

...just jam by myself now and drive my wife crazy!
