What a heartbreaking game.

LSU had some monumental mistakes in the kicking game. 2 muffed punts. One of those inside of two minutes (?) gave FSU the ball on the 8. LSU defense came up with a turnover on the one yard-line. LSU offense drove 99 yards and scored a touchdown, then proceeded to have the PAT blocked, the second kick block of the evening.

It will take Brian Kelly three years to totally eradicate the culture of entitlement and laziness within the football program at LSU, a culture that despite the 2019 team, permeates the whole program, brought on by Les Miles, and made worse by Ed "lemme chase afta dis blonde young'un" Orgeron. The Peter Principle firmly at work in Baton Rouge.

NE media elites are all furious that he dared leave South Bend, ain't they? He will never catch a break, ever again, even if he wins championships. Championships which are much more likely in Baton Rouge than in South Bend, the last three LSU head coaches have all won a championship. Les Miles won and lost in the championship, so the precedent and recent relevance is in Kelly's favor here.

Last Irish championship was 1988.

First college football game I remember watching was the championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame. Bama lost. I have deeper reasons for disliking ND, but it started there.

ND lost to Marshall. All is well in the world.

If I were a sports gambler, I would have cleaned up yesterday taking Texas and the points.

About damn time. Of course with a fifteen million dollar buy out, I don't think he is going to worry about job hunting for a while.

Sounds like Ed Orgeron.

What's the general school of thought on Trev Alberts as an A.D.?
