That's one for the books, to be sure.
- find out friday you're in because - another horse scratched - watch the pack take off like a rocket for the fastest 1/4 in ages - find a lane that takes you right to the inside front while the eventual number 3-6 horses are fighting for position - on the outside?? yeah. One for the books for sure.

And if you watched the lead pony to Winner's Circle alongside him, he was biting the shit out of him. He wasn't done competing. Bodes well for the other two legs of the crown.
Damndest horse race I've ever seen. I thought Secretariat was the greatest horse I've ever seen race in my lifetime (Man O' War and Seabiscuit were pretty damned good in their lifetimes, but predate me).
