Ultrasonic Humidifier Question

Hi Everyone,

I have a new cabinet humidor (This Beauty) and it is humidified with an ultrasonic humidifier connected to a hygrostat. It seems that whenever the humidifer has power to it (not generating any mist) then the humidity rises to scary levels (it is currently at 80). I have set the hygrostat to all sorts of crazy levels, it is sitting at 50% (the lowest), but the humidity is still far too high. I want to keep using this humidifier (because it is even less work than beads), but I can't seem to get the humidity settings correct.

Does anyone else have issues with their ultrasonic humidifier? Is there a way I can fix it?

Thanks,

AL.[/url]
