wood for cabinet humidor

I recall a couple past articles on woods to use for humidors. I guess spanish cedar is top choice and honduran mahogonay is second? what's a good price for honduran mahogony? my local place quoted for honduran mahogany plywooda sheets that are 4x8

1/4 inch thick with mdf core $88
3/4 inch think with the regulare core $150

that seems pretty pricey to me. Any other people in so cal have any good hookups on wood places? I guess you got to get it from a specialty wood place. TIA>

or any links to the past threads that go into this in depth would be appreciated. tia
