Display case humidor
I just purchased a display case humidor that is about 24" high, my question is, should I place the humidor device on the top or the bottom of the humidor? Also the hydrometor is located at the top of the humidor, am I to assume the humidity level to be the same at the bottom of the humidor as the reading I'm getting at the top?

From reading past posts on these subjects, I can say that humidity rises (water vapor is less dense than air) so having the humidifier on the bottom would be better unless you have a way to get air to circulate. Following this, your humidity will likely not be the same from top to bottom, but it is unlikely to be drastically different.
FWIW. personal experience shows that my humidor (22" inside height) has, at most, a 1% RH gradient from top to bottom. Most hygrometers will likely not be sensitive enough to show anything more. |

You'll likely pick up some beads soon enough. When you do, split'em up and out half up top and hald down below.

What do you need a humidor for? You've got one of the largest down the street from you in JR's....
And yes, I'd put the humidification device at the bottom. Best of luck, co-hiba

It's a Cuban Crafters Humidor, I won it on E-bay. The merchant I won it from has a web site he sells them on www.donalbertoscigars.com
