Will aromatics ruin a Don Carlos 3-Note

Natty: I smoke some aromatics, usually in a Kirsten, where the radiator can trap the goo that comes off the tobacco. Aromatics have a casing that contains propylene glycol and it's very sticky. It may plug up the pores of your Don Carlos. Periodically, I have to take a piece of rough terrycloth, soak it in grain alcohol and scrub out the Kirsten bowls in which I've smoked aromatics. It removes most of the gunk, but I'm certain that there is some residue. I'd stay with a Virginia, Burley blend, with a touch of perique for aroma in the Don Carlos. Most black cavendish is cased so be careful. Congratulations on the new pipe. Enjoy it with your best tobacco.
