2004 K. Hansotia Sherpa Founders 2002 Mystic Dos Capas

A medium, smooth textured, barber pole wrapper, smooth cap and a firm bunch.

A slightly uneven burn, light grey, typical ash with an easy draw and slightly conical coal.

High smoke volume and faint, brief, subtle aroma with no burn in the throat.

Ample richness, perfect balance of herbal, grassy and woody flavors and medium-full strength.

No sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, saltiness or burn on the tongue.

Elegant character and an overall great cigar, scoring 90 out of 100.

I friggin' LOVE cigars

I'm glad to see you started on this one first. You are not alone in your findings that these cigars have done well with time. Not too bad for a sub $2 price point bundle stick, right? Purchased in quantity on a whim because I didn't have any barber pole cigars in the humi other than a couple Between the Lines Hemingway singles. Cigarbid still has auctions on these, but not this specific wrapper style right now.

I have never smoked a barber pole, that I am aware of; perhaps I have had a CAO America waaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. Are the flavor changes quite noticeable?
