I'm ruined
I picked up an RP Edge Maduro yesterday at Thompson. I decided to smoke it last night. It was one of the most enjoyable cigars that I ever smoked. I could smoke a couple a day but my budget won't allow it.
Has anyone tried "seconds" or JR ALTS? Any good?

I tried the JR Alt to The Edge and liked it a lot - which is funny since I didn't really like the regular Edge all that much.

I have never had a JR Altern. that I enjoyed.
To each his own, though. Check it out, it is worth a try.

The RP Edge Counterfeits made by RP are excellent. I am constantly looking on the devil site for these and just happened to have one a box. Check cbid constantly.

I greatly enjoy the JR Alt to RP edge, natural or maduro. Cheaper, too.

I used to love maduro Edges. Lately, they don't seem to be the cigar that they once were. Having said that, since you like them, the various Edge seconds, selects, off-colors, x-outs, box-outs, etc. that you can find at lower prices at various internet sellers are, IMO, just as good as the regular Edges. When I buy Edges these days, I usually buy the Off Colors from Holt's, since they're my local b&m.
