So, what is for dinner tonight?

Buffalo Chicken Pasta, thin crust pizza with pepperoni and sausage, salad.

Update: I was told we are having Crack Chicken. Here’s the recipe.

Have not had this before. I was told to add Franks Red Hot sauce. It will make it legendary. I’m down, I’ll try it this way. It has bacon,it must be good.

Frank's just doesn't work for me. Sri racha or goguchang is more my speed. Enjoy!

I have both those hot sauces. I’ll try it multiple ways.

The family requested my Lumpia for dinner tonight. They just wanted lumpia but it's more of a side dish. So, gonna make some kind of Asian salad, lumpia and whatever leftovers are in the fridge.

I make the lumpia with leftover pulled pork and it's damn good. Will serve with a couple dipping sauces. A orange marmalade one and a Thai dipping sauce. Making Baked Alaska for dessert.

You make the lumpia.

I always viewed that as an assembly line operation like tamales are.

But like I did with tamales I may have to try my hand at it. Coming here to Al has left me cuisine lacking in some areas. We learned tamales while in Tejas but I have seen no Filipino influence anywhere around and I miss lumpia.

Plenty of Korean here tho... thanks to the Hyundai plant.

Used some of that big pork loin that I carved up, brined and froze. Took thinner pieces and pounded them out for schnitzel. Sides were quinoa and cabbage.

All over the world this evening...

Busy day at the casa, so we doordashed from a favorite local restaurant. Yummy Cobb salad with lots of chicken for me and the Mrs, a huge Philly cheese for youngest son...

Tomorrow we make chicken vegetable soup!
Already roasted breasts and thighs, so we'll boil the bones for stock, cook celery, onions, cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, tomatoes, and then add diced up roasted chicken. Yum. Should make about 8 quarts of stewoop.... Very thick soup!

A labor of love.

Freezes well too. We keep a bag of used bones in the freezer for just this.

Waste less, need less...
