There are a couple brands out there. One is the Z-plus, they aren't too bad.

I just have 2 cheap plastic lighters right now, one is a single flame one has 3. I was just using a bic before. the one thing I don't like about one of them is it seems like the lid is always in the way when I'm trying to light something.
what do you think of the blazer? one of your favorite lighters or should I settle for something else?

The only problem I've ever had with the Z-Plus is that mine never wants to open up right. This going to be hard to describe, but the little arm that swings out when you open the top and makes the signature "ping" sound, it doesn't come down all the way unless I push it down with my finger. If I don't push it down, then it won't close properly either.
My very first one didn't have this problem, but it got confiscated at the airport because I was trying to be sneaky and pass it off as a normal Zippo ![]() The two I've bought since, one that was just the Z-Plus and the other came with a Zippo-like case, both have this problem with actual Zippo cases, but not with the knockoff case it comes with. Anyone else have this issue? |

I've never had that issue BP. I have four of these in Zippo cases all over the house/car/etc. and they are fantastic!

Zippo makes a torch, but it does not have the profile we all recognize. Some (most) inserts will not fit properly in imitation zippos. Also (obviously), they won't fit the Zippo slim lines. I don't know if they fit the retro, re-issues. Next to my Extends, the Z-Plus inserts are the best single flame torch out there. And you can't beat the price. ![]()
