Very first humidor!

My lady got me this for our 1 year! It says it can hold up to 50 sticks! I haven't seasoned it yet. Also, being its a smaller humidor, should I use the humidifier included? I don't have the solution for it. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Nice humidor, congratulations!!!

Use distilled water in that devise, for now.

Next, see if you can find a digital hygrometer/thermometer.

I found a digital on Amazon for under $20 so I'll be ordering that. I also found some of the humidity sticks ( don't remember the proper name ) I was considering grabbing those as well

Humicare tubes.
Or HeartFelt. I don't think HeartFelt is on Amazon, so most likely Humicare or some clone thereof.

If you use the tubes, only lay them near/on cigars with cellophane wrappers, and, put a folded over piece (i.e. doubled over/double thick) piece of paper towel between the tube and the cigars. They WORK - and you don't want to get cigar wrappers wet...

Trust me on this. I learned the hard way.

Boveda packs are the simplest solution to humidification of a small humi. Check with your local tobacconist. They are also very affordable.

Is Heartfelt still in business? Their humidification beads were great

I have the exact same 1. Season it, use distilled water in the humidifier, wax seal around the glass and the lid, get digital gauge and enjoy!!!
