Smoked outdoor patio, nice sunny day, with unsweetened iced tea.

Wrapper - Medium tan/brown, thin veins, wrapper is thin typical of this lines vitola. 4/5

Construction - With a light pinch, it felt very firm. I was surprised at the perfect draw by the firmness of this cigar. Draw was perfect. Even burn from beginning to end. Nice flaky, gray ash. 5/5

Flavor - Started off very bitter, and nutty, tasted rough for the first half inch. It then mellowed to a nice earthy, bitter nuts flavors. It is a very strong tasting cigar in the 1st half. Mellowed nicely in the 2nd half. Some hints of pepper on the back of the palate. There is this dry wine like note in the flavor profile. Definitley "in-your-face" strong, catching a nice nicobuzz from this cigar. Not for the beginner smoker. 8/10

Final thoughts - This cigars consistency from year to year is what impresses me. Construction is usually tops, and the flavor profile is similar year to year. I love this little cigar that can outperform its bigger brothers. Despite its age, it is still a very strong cigar. I love these cigars.
