Showing my ignorance at IPCPR
The subjects of English & Foreign Languages were NEVER my strong suit when I was in school, so this should have been no surprise.
I have enjoyed the Jamie Garcia Reserva Especial for some time now, being one of my favorites in the My Father line. One of our "must do" stops at the show was placing a nice order and check out any new stuff at the My Father booth. While discussing different options with one of the reps I mentioned how much I enjoyed the Jamie Garcia line. During the course of our conversation we kept referring to different vitolas, different lines, etc.......the rep kept bringing up a line called HYMEE something????? ......and I kept pointing out how much I enjoyed the JAYMEE line! It wasn't until we were actually placing the order that I finally realized that all this time I had been mis-pronouncing the Jamie Garcia line!!!!!!! It had seemed so obvious to me....Jamie/Jaymee??? But no, I FINALLY figured out it was pronounced HYMEE? Oh well I guess I should have studied harder in school.
