Redemption Rye.
A nice, inexpensive everyday rye from Indiana which means is mostly rye (90%). |

Will be enjoying my trio of Oktoberfest Marzen style brews; Hacker Pschorr, Paulaner, and the local entry Bob's 47 from Boulevard Brewing.

+1. The Bulleit rye, don't bother with it. Whistlepig is the best I've had, but it gets expensive. If you are a rye fan, we're on the cusp of a rye break out. The stuff distilled and barreled at the begining of the bourbon boom is maturing and just starting to hit the shelves.

Just got back from physical therapy and made a batch of old fashions. Let the weekend begin!

Nikka Yoichi (no age statement) Japanese single malt whisky yesterday evening. The contents of this bottle are now perilously low. Truly one of the great distilleries.
