That is why I recommended 5/8” thickness it will hold the moisture and the glue will not interfere with the cigars or the smell in the humidor. The screws are to hold the wood in place while the glue dries or you can just leave them in place. The shiplap is to allow for expansion I figure my spanish cedar right now is under 10% moisture content and is going to need some room to expand as the humidor reaches 70% humidity. The boards will overlap and allow enough room for expansion.
