We lost a great one today

Texas musician Davy Jones (a personal friend of mine), master of the Gibson succumbed to lung cancer today. He was an absolute monster on the Les Paul for Texas bands Big Foot Chester, the Dicks, the Ideals, Ty Gavin and the Next, and most notably the Hickoids, the infamous punk/country band that traveled the world playing their punk tinged *almost* rockabilly sound to the masses. They were a sight to see. He makes the third of the original band to pass, but Jeff Smith, the lead singer and driving force behind the band soldiers on.

Say a prayer for Davy and for Jeff and the Hickoids. This is a devastating loss. I'm still having to control my tear ducts. He was that good of a guy.

Rest in peace, Davy.

Free speech is free speech is free speech. There is no qualifier.

If you aren't outraged, you aren't paying attention.

Never attribute malice to that what can be explained as stupidity.

Unborn lives matter too.
