new line: Cruzados
I've tried several sizes in this New Line, from Dion.
It's an interesting group. Mostly smaller gauges and not too long. Most between 4 1/2-5 5/8ths lengths and nothing over 48 ring gauge. The Azucar Cigar Lounge had a Debut smoker last Saturday night. I have tried the Dantes- 5 x 48, Domenicoes- 5 5/8ths x 46 and the Marelas- 5 5/8ths x 46 Perfecto. The Dantes is my favorite so far. The cigars sport a uniform red Colorado colored Wrapper. The profile is very different from thier Illusione stablemates. These are Flavorful without the Sharp Power that is the Hallmark of the Illusione line. The burn is consistent and leaves a loose dark ash. I really like this Profile, it has a savory element that is easily enjoyed. The prices are in the 9-10 dollar range, with Cali taxes. Of the 8 or so that I have had, all but one were the Parejo shapes. Those units performed very well and tasted Super. The single Marelas Perfecto that i sampled had a funny burn, but very nice flavor. There is also a Churchill size that I have not had, yet. I like the sizes and the Profiles. Different is GOOD!! These are impressive smokes. Not a lot of hype or press on these, but I can easily recommend that You try them. Cheers! slack
