2023 Herf In the Bayou is ON! April 13-15,2023
Here are the 2023 Herf in The Bayou plans!
If you have been here before, you know what we do. If you haven't, its about damn time you made it. Crawfish, cigars, oysters, fish, and whatever the hell else we can think of. Make your plans, clear your calendars, bring the wife on vacation early so she wont bitch that you're going to yet ANOTHER cigar event, because we are ON. In case you were wondering..this is a family friendly event, and the ladies always wanna know will there be other ladies here, YES there will be other ladies here, so fellas if you wanna bring your wives or your girlfriends feel free. I personally don't recommend you to bring your wife AND your girlfriend, but hey, you do you. Any questions? Just ask. I am back on facebook and have created an event on there but its private and only way you get in there is either friend me or another attendee and they can invite you. It wont be much different there than here. So whatever. OKAY, Hotel info. I am only going to list the four closest to herf central. And that folks have stayed in and generally liked. Slidell is generally safe and secure, and all four of these are within walking distance of each other in a pinch, and there is also a Walmart, Sam's Club, and a Walgreens a short distance from all four. 1) Holiday Inn Express, 1255 Frontage Rd. Keith and Mary deserve deep and abiding thanks for opening their home and sharing the family traditions of community with us. The entire team who comes together every year to make the weekend special are amazingly talented and go way above and beyond.
It was great to see so many old friends and meet new ones. Sharing cigars, stories, great food, and drink is amazing therapy. Y’all were so generous. Thank you all, and we hope to see you again soon. |
