Great Classical Singer

A friend of mine that works with Unviersal recently gave me a copy of Ronan Tynan's CD, he used to be in the three Irish Tenors (for those that might be more familiar with them). I was really impressed with his CD, I think his voice is beautiful and it's a great CD to just lounge around the house to. I was just curious to see if anyone else was aware of his music? What do you think of it? I was really surprised he could carry the songs on his own, without the other three guys there, but I guess that's why they're considering him the world's most famous Irish Tenor now.

And just incase anyone is interested in listening to him, I believe there are some clips on his website if you want to check that out ( http://www.drronantynan.net ).

Tynan, like many of his ilk (Bocelli, etc), is a passable tenor. If you seek sublime singing, buy a cd, any cd, of the great Swedish tenor of Jussi Bjorling. It's the same difference as that of a perfect Cohiba and a JR Alt.
